In September of ’09 I went with Sue to Yosemite National Park (and Mono Lake, and Bodie, and Death Valley). That was near the end of wedding season, so I had a huge backlog of photos to work on, so I hadn’t had much of a chance to go through the 3,000 photos that I took. I still haven’t had the time to go through them, but I was recently sent a link to a national park photo contest, and their photo of Half Dome reminded me of one of my own. We were at Glacier point with about 100 other folks, waiting for and watching the sunset. It was very sublime… and Sue and I stayed on the top of the mountain until much later that night, getting some good photos of the Milky Way that night.
